This workshop will focus on supporting you in creating a physical container to help cultivate and maintain self-love for mental and emotional wellbeing.
Using various materials including paper, collage, watercolor, and paint, you will be guided to create a personalized and intentional box and small reminders to support your self-care. We will tune in with guided meditation to identify what is positive and healing in our lives and find ways to include reminders and symbols in and on your box.
NO art experience is necessary.
IMPORTANT: Bring your own shoe box (or other box) and items for your box!!
All other necessary art supplies will be provided. Participants are also invited to bring their own supplies for personal use or to share with the group (extra boxes, specific images, candles, teas, sacred objects, or other personalized items to add to personal kit).
We all agree to hold space and inspiration for each other so that we feel comfortable sharing as we go. Our intention is to help everyone get in touch with their deep heart for growth, respite, self-care, and creating a life we love. We are already holding the intention for a wonderful group experience.

This workshop is the second in a series of 6 Art Therapy Workshops facilitated by Celina Jacques, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board Certified Art Therapist. This workshop is not a therapy group session and is not intended to replace any necessary mental health treatment. One on one art therapy and psychotherapy or spiritual healing sessions can be booked directly with Celina.
